All the subjects taught by schools (and some parents) don't seem to include 'permission'....so one is honour-bound to teach it retrospectively
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I'll never forget a situation when we were all having lunch and watched this guy walk up to our bikes... he started fiddling with Clive's (who happens to be a grumpy bastard) bike, the next thing the side stand gets put up... Clive stands up... next the bugger outside drops the R6 bloody hard... Clive smacked the guy equally hard... I dont know who I felt most sorry for the owner of the bike or the guy who dropped it, as the bike and the droppee came off second best i.e the both had a lie down

Some people are just morons and yeah, you have to be careful taking matters into your own hands. These days the perpetrator ends up with counselling and the victim gets locked up.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

I had filled up at a servo in Wellsford, and while I was paying for the gas, some idiot pulled up next to my bike and pulled the fuel line over my bike to fill up his wagon. I couldnt fuckn believe. There truely are some complete fuckwits in this world. Some nice words were said. Buga that there are security cameras at petrol stations. It would have been more than just words if there werent any cameras.

Ive had some hippie usuing my bike as a table while it was parked once... I asked her once to stop it went back up to my office and she was doing it again so I went down an threw all her shit onto the road and told her to fark off. Ive also had a workmate show me a photo of one of his mates sitting on my bike while it was parked outside work. They thought it was funny, I didnt and told them so. Scored a free chocolate bar for that tantrum!

I'll never forget the first time that I met NC, she had her VFR and was parked outside a pub in Lower Hutt. We went down for a smoke and there was a gang of Hutt "natives" playing on her bike, fark she's scary when shes angry! Was such a crack up seeing these staunch lil "natives" run of down the road looking like they were gonna cry!

    Wow you guys are tough.

I'd be pissed off if someone touched my bike (as in malicious) but someone interested in it and sitting on it might actually have an interest in motorcycling and not know the rules (i.e. don't touch).

Yes there are some idiots that will drape fuel hoses over the bike on the way to their car, and anyone that's never done anything stupid would be very welcome to have a go at them... anyone else would be a hypocrite if they do anything beyond voicing/pointing out their displeasure.

For God's sake people, we live in a civilised society. Mention of giving them a bullet??? Smashing them over etc? What good does it do - I mean really... what good.

How about we sort it out like grown ups?

Sounds like a lot of macho bullshit and boys being one up each other to me ("oh yeah - you'd only do that??? I'd do THIS")

    Get real.

LOL - I married a primary teacher who is a natural with the "withering look". I'm likely to be immune.

'sides - I never claimed to be tough. Ask anyone that met me... I'm between soggy tissue paper and frog spawn on the toughness index.

99% agree....sitting on my scooter just ain't cool. No I wouldn't toes them up if not malicious but if someone was to purposefully have a go at my bike,or a mates for that matter it would be a largely different story.
