    Sorry, only rode it home.

Bloody great. Not as fast turning as some of the sportyier bikes i tried but once in a corner it is stable as hell. Has all the speed and power I need but with added comfort too. Nice not having A)the vibes of the two stroke and B)not having to be in the right gear. Love the EXUP noises once switched on too. Brakes have been hardly used due to engine braking being so usefull but have the same caliper on my TDR and know it is shite hot. speedo and clocks are easy to read, 87kms home and only one bar gone off the fuel gauge (yes a gauge, no more tap for me). Mirrors you can actually see out of and even a clock! I like the aftermarket screen too, better looking than the original and deflects more wind too. The paint was to be changed to the same colours as my TDR, but when the sun came out and struk the metallic blue paint it looked fantastic so that will stay.

Complaints: A little less exciting than some of the others I tried (Ducati 996SP and honda blackbird being two) but just as involving as requires lots of steering. The image of the bike is not where I see myself as a biker today. Saying that, it does everything i need it too and more so I'll learn to live with the looks. Maybe its my attitude that needs to change.

Overall its a bike that can tour in comfort, two up (soon to be tested) and can actually be thrown around abit too. Think I'll keep it

Thanks Pacific Blue........I mean err Dave @ Waikato Yamaha.
