Ah on a Gixxer 600 it will be easy as, i think it might be better doing it on the gixxer than the lardy VTR....... Will only need to use 2 fingers too hehehe

As for my bike i hope my piston doesnt melt, especially after that ride with MR It was bouncing off the rev limiter for about 3 minutes in 6th gear

I don't want to bugger everyones enthusiasm here but has anybody checked that the track is definitely open to all on Saturday? I have just heard that some Porsche dudes (dudettes?) have sole access to the track that day???? Someone may want to check this out proper before there are a bunch of dissapointed bikers sitting at the gate on Sat am

Hopefully only a couple of weeks (which is like an eternity). Hard to say at this stage? I'm doing an insurance claim for the first time in my life and it depends on availablity of oem parts (mirror & decals), delivery times, and workload of repairers, etc.

I'll be there, with some new aftermarket mirrors most probably. Otherwise look for the silver FXR with fucked fairings.

I just rang the track and 'Greg' said that access was open to bikes. I didn't ask whether it was exclusive use though.

So perhaps it will be a bunch of disappointed Porche drivers instead. :spudbooge
