I dunno what it is exactly about the Aprillia, but if I was ever to buy a non Jap bike, it would be one, although it would be a motard...
hmmm with your ginger temprament wouldnt the angry mentalness of the ZX suit?

Though with a decent pipe to battle that KTM bloke..... you dont really need balls out HP on the road which is your territory and since it has the chassis and bits to handle the naki goat tracks, plus your penchant for Ohlins....... Go the Aprillia! (what about this one? http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=36584)

Ha ha, funny how 10 out of 10 journos and other testers disagree with you. And the racers.

The k5 and k6 are identical bar the paint. But you are right about the kwaka.

If the decision is that hard Sensei then start playing hard ball with the vendors and see who will suck the most cock/give the biggest discount/best freebies to get the sale.

Any warranty on the Aprilia tho? I like the look of them and they sound pretty good but I still don't think I'd personally choose it over the other 2. Definite second bike material.

If you can't decide, and have to ask the eedjits on KB, then it doesn't matter, duzzit?
I would've thought the answer would be obvious: the one that does it for you.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

So if the journos and testers say somethings shit hot you run along like a good wee lad and promptly purchase what it is they say it is you should be getting???
Funny I had a different way of doing it. I test piloted all the Jap 600cc, the one 750cc and all the 1000cc bikes and made my decision from that alone. I honestly don't give a rats arse what some other plonker says, including some here on kiwibiker.

That bike on Saslex's link looks mint, thats the one I'd be organising to buy, quick.

Way i see if, do you want a twin or not? If so take the aprillia if not

You down to two, and well take which ever one gives you the biggest bone, like you said all your ohlins will be fitted to the which ever of these japanese bikes you buy, so you get something with more power, just as much handling adjustment(after you add your bits), and lower over all cost of ownership.

Yes alot of people have gixxers and zxs and not as many with aprillias. But really boils down to which one gives you the biggest boner, and which bike feels right for you.

Agree with vifferman, but the one that sAsLEX points to is bloody nice, and newer than your black bike option at the top of the page.

I'm not the only one he does battle with, the other guys ride Aprilia's, and Scotts not too big on waiting for ya anyway, he should buy an SV650 to give a us a chance, Tui add.

Don't be such a dick inline.

I test rode most of them too, except the yamahahas and chose the gixxer for the balance, riding position, looks and power delivery.

I was pointing out that you are about the only person in the world who would choose a K3 over a K6, care to explain exactly why?

Can't you afford one? Too much power?

Oooh, ooh, I know. You don't want to be a sheep, right? Scared you'll get raped in teh 'naki?

Anything but the Suzi Sen!....you had one and rejected it. You have heard the horror stories concerning their electrics and currently a few of the GSXR forums have lots of people bitching about SET valve issues. Qaulity control is rubbish.
Kawasaki/Aprilia where both winners at master bike this year, time for a change dude!

I'm more interested in the way the bike feels to ride/handle. I felt far more comfortable on the k3 (however it did by that time have some go fast gear) compared to my ride on the k5, which you said is the same as the k6.
Can I afford one? I guess so, but atm we are saving for a farmlet now and thats more important to me than owning another new bike atm. Power? I only use what I need and thats usually less than what the CBR600RR has on offer due to the quality twisties down these ways.
Sheep? You have quite the fetish for those eh, allways bringing this topic into the discussion. If you actually did some research you'd find that the naki is predominantly dairy farming, but no I'm not worried about being raped.
Oh and you might feel that the previous post was aimed at you, sorry it was not. Didn't mean to hit the raw nerve that it would appear that I have...
