I don't know where you got the 4 yr warranty thing from, they had a 3yr in Europe many moons ago but I think it's back to 2 now, and your right the maintence costs are not too bad.
OAB,he did say he'd stand out in a crowd, but in a crowd of Aprilia's maybe not so, but they're all different so we'll send you a photo, you'll certainly be able to pick out Scott

RSV would be my choice if it was my money, although I don't like all the go faster stickers on the fairings. Would look better in plain black or red.
I love the smell of twin V16's in the morning..

At the moment Aprilla has a 2 + 2 warranty option, in that if you complete all scheduled maintanace at a Authorised dealer for the first two years you get an extra 2 years warranty!

    just another slant to it:
I would not use tha same parameters for choosing a bike like many here do because I all 3 bikes are gonna give a great ride anyway.

So my criteria would now be more like: Which workshop gives me the best and friendliest suport.
Or after at least 1hour riding on each bike, which one is the one I feel most comfy with. etc.
    best of luck.

p.s. I don't insist that my 5cents worth are going to be of any help in making your choice

Ahhh.. That is how it works. It's a good thing. My jaw nearly hit the floor when Flame told me her new RSV had a 4 year warranty. Was very impressed.

Gotta love the top triple clamp on those bikes, with all the holes in it, dinky as. And the tiny (tiny) clutch bottle, the cool material the seat is made out of, the wonderful finish of the paint.

    Ohhhhhh. Nice.

I am pretty sure it came in for 2006, and was to try and bolster more sales after Piaggio bought them (Aprilia) out to foster more confidence in there reliability.

Not since 2003,and if you buy it SH it doesn't automatcally transfer to the new owner. But Scott doesn't need to worry about that as he'll have no problems with it
