Hi Aaron I passed my learner licence for the motorbike on Monday (theory) and practice last Saturday. I am from Germany and wanted to convert my German car licence to the NZ licence. Some questions are slightly different and you have more questions in the motorbike book. Also you have more specific question about motorbike riding. I would recommend you to buy the road code for the motorbike. Having said that: if you would have done your test for the motorbike first you shouldn´t have any problems for the car theory test.
The AA told me that the learner licence is value for 10 years so you still should be fine :-) But ask the AA to make really sure!
