Ardmore 01 Oct

Went out to Ardmore for my first time today and had an absolute blast! I was out there on the oldest bike (88 CR125) with the worst running gear and still had the time of my life.

I also wanted to say a big thanks to Cam (BuddyL), Adam (GTAe) and Jeremy (Gr81) for giving me a ride out there and and helping me get started. It certainly did help knowing someone was there to drive you home if you mess up big time.

I also have to apologise to the person I was passing (first passing attempt) and went over the handle bars in front of them. Oh so embarassing....

All in all a wicked day resulting in another person hooked on mxing

Bring on next weekend....

well cheers for that Jeremy i had a good time as well, good to hear that you are hooked on the MX bike its the best and only way
and what a rocket ship i don't think that bike of yours was made to go that fast

well bring on next weekened i say
just get some tyres and sprockets and you will be up with the best of them.

and as for Mr Blake Gillard you were lucky that i was only in the crusing mood today for i would have be the one doing all the roosting

Thats what I have ,,, The wieght is an issue , and the suspension is err odd ..but those cr engines are good units

I had a good long thunk about getting the latest ,,and Ill stick to my old heap

loads of fun ,,,and I am still with cash in pocket !!!

Dont worry Im sure he will keep his rear wheel at your ear height anytime....

So is cycletreads a good place to get cheap tyres? I think I might give them a call mon.

Also is it safe to assume I can change chain and spockets myself? (If I can get that bloody back wheel off)

yer ill get that one off you if i can, have to try and wip it out a bit more next time not bad for a first atempt. soon the bike and me will be Horizontal and most likely on the ground

need to tilt the camera more when taking them so i look more like a pro

hey can someone please tell me the number for ardmore? do they have a website or somethin that tells you the schedule? i want to no if there is a practice day this weekend .......
