Have you tried playing with the knob??

haha.. if that fails... try a couple of knives to bend the elements closer/further away from the bread thats in there

(for maximum effect make sure its still plugged in

)

... make sure he trys playing with your knob first then Finn, It could be as easy as that to get your buns burning evenly.

Dollface, I don't want my buns burnt, just slightly toasted on the outside and warm on the inside.

I dont really know much about Toasters, but maybe you should look McJim up, he makes a mean bowel of porridge

You will all be happy to know, I'm sure, that Morty now appears to be working fine. I drove him to work, and back from work (Woohoo! By far and away the longest I've driven, and it went excellently!) and both times he started straight away...not a problem to speak of.
