    Have you tried playing with the knob??
    haha.. if that fails... try a couple of knives to bend the elements closer/further away from the bread thats in there
    (for maximum effect make sure its still plugged in )

    Dollface, I don't want my buns burnt, just slightly toasted on the outside and warm on the inside.

    You will all be happy to know, I'm sure, that Morty now appears to be working fine. I drove him to work, and back from work (Woohoo! By far and away the longest I've driven, and it went excellently!) and both times he started straight away...not a problem to speak of.

    There's Life, the Universe and Everything, but I prefer pizza.
