Yeah, I dunno if that's the one. She doesn't mention in there about a cameraman or a wheelie.

An old girlfriend blew me off on the back seat of a car once or twice!

Seroiusly though this is how I got into biking when a mate took me out on his ZZR1100 or some other big kwaka 10 years ago. Any roads we were blatting around the M42 when he nails it, fair enough but Dave is only 5' 5" and I'm over 6 foot and perched high up on the raised pillion seat. Dave lays on the tank and I get the whole wind force on me nearly ripping me off the back. I managed to push myself forward and hold onto the first thing that comes to hand - the underneath of the tank. Just before I close my eyes I glance at the speedo and we're pushing 140mph and accelerating. Fu*k how I stayed on I don't know, but as I wasn't wearing any gloves I did manage to take the paint off the tank with my fingernails!!
Swore I'd never go on the back of a bike again - rather be in control.

yep! Even though it's hot over here, I'd rather wear an armoured textile bike jacket and Draggin jeans than end up like that.

Good to see she came through............but..the webpage says she was not hanging on until she got blown off
The bike is going faster, you are on the back and starting to move rearward on the seat, the gap to the rider is getting bigger,a self preservation light comes on inside your head..Danger is eminent, you ignore it and fall off the back in the 100 and something an hour windblast.

Poor girl... scared the crap out of me, to think I used to pillion wearing nothing much more than she was, (although that was along time ago when I was young and stupid, well young anyway). Good to see her riding again too.

The way it happened didn't make much sense to me but the end result did. What a horrible way to learn a lesson, especially for a girl.

Question: Now that you can buy Kangaroo skin suits, are they better protection than leather? The GP boys use them. I know they are lighter.

I learnt my lesson a while back stuffing around on a dirt bike while wearing a tshirt.

One thing for certain. I looked at the girl's photos and started allocating a budget for gear upgrade. Not sure if my summer dririder jacket with foam padding would have done much of a difference...

Ive seen a guy just after he high sided his bike and he was wearing a summer dririder jacket all he got was some minor grazing and some pretty ugly bruises but they healed up and left no scars....

I came off a dirt bike in draggin' jeans ... on some very rough gravel, but not travelling at a huge speed..... they did very well actually. But oh man - the nasty bruise on the ass from impact....oi ...... made me limp and moan for a while
