    Those forks look seriously munted, it must have been the impact with the curb. Still, it looks like it might be salvageable from what I can see. If the insurance guys want to just write it off you might want to see how much it would cost just to get it roadworthy again, maybe cancelling your claim and spending a few hundred bucks max would get you back on the road and through to full license time? The "cosmetics" could be tackled later on when you feel like it.

    What are you pointing at on the road in that picture? Is that where the tyre broke loose?

    Gutted man. Must have jynxed yourself with the convo the other weekend about not droping it before your full. And to think I had a whole bike of parts a month ago which I sold for bugger all.

    Hope you get it sorted soon insurance can be a bitch to deal with.

    1 fork inner tube will set you back $450! bandit parts have to come from japan.

    If the forks aren't too bad, you can get them pressed at an engineers for around $40, so I've heard. Pretty bike though, shame about it
