    2007 R1

Just saw this in a thread on the R1 forum. Pics of the 07 R1:

    http://www.kryptonbulbs.com/2007r1.html

Apparently the pics were accidentally posted early on Yamaha Canadas site and have now been removed.

    Personally I don't like it.

Personally, i do, and i love it in all colours, and i must say that the red would suit me just fine, or the blue, and come to think of it the black also

I'd be disspointed if i was a yamaha fan, i mean the new R6 is fkn cool, i was expecting something a bit more radical for the 07 R1 thats been unchanged since 04, and what do you get a slightly revised R1, it doesn't look that much different, few "minor" cosmetic changes, from a distance still looks like the same bike.

Even i feel let down, good one yamaha, ya plonkers! Nice colours too whats with that red WTF
GSXR wiping the shit that is that Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki off the road since '85'

Me too. I heard rumours about a return to a 16 valve head - I wonder if they were true. I guess at least it's still the prettiest open bike.

Likewise. There had been rumours of the fly by wire throttle (a la R6) being extend to fly by wire valve timing, which could be some radical shit. And, let's face it, they need to do something pretty radical to the R1 if they want their Gixxer fanboys back.

Looks OK, I guess. Still far too powerful for me. By a long way.
