    *whistles through teeth*

Damn, that's a lot of exclaimation marks.
    I told him,
"Son, what is it with you? Is it ignorance or apathy?"

    He said,
    "Coach, I don't know and I don't care."

My reserve doesnt work for shit. 0-100 in about 3.5 seconds. 6th gear is fine on the motorway.

But dont use it on the motorway ^_^ it's a waste. As long as you dont labour the engine, low revs are ok. It just tends to oil the engine up if you go too long without a decent blast.

Use a good synthetic oil, and let it warm up properly before wringing it.

Do you know a Chris Fry?

You use 91? 96 would be preferable.

youd think so,but think about the fact that our bikes were made pre 96 when 91 was the best petrol,so our bikes are made to maximise the benefits of 91 not 96 theres no extra gain out of 96 except maybe run the engine a bit cleaner but other than that you just risk burning rubber bits in the engine,,orings gaskets n shit

Why do you want unleaded in a two smoker? Think of your seals.

Two strokes have low effective compression ratios . So usually (always a usually, YYMV) high octane is a waste of money.

But what matters is the lead. There is a body of opinion that considers (but has not got enough evidence to unequivocally prove) that unleaded petrol does nasty things to two smoker crank seals. Not real nasty as in crap out immediately. But "halve the expected life of the component" nasty.

The jury is out as to whether this is due to the absence of the tetra ethyl lead (similar to four stroke valve seats); or to the presence of other gunk added by petrol companies to compensate (in terms of octane building) for the removal of the lead.
