waimiha- ah what a laugh I was probably one of those trying to get up the hills! never met a ride so slippery in all my life!
the young lad did well in the 7-9 yr olds on his 70 coming in 4th.
I didn't even finish in the rookies class as punctured the radiator - probably while falling off for the 30th time- and gave up before the last hill having taken about 2 and half hours getting there. I was plastered in mud had broken my glasses so couldn't see very well and was absolutely knackered!!! I fell off the bike when i got back to the ute. But it was fun- I think. I must remember never to go dirt biking in the wet!!!! or worse when it hails as it did when I got to the first hill and watched the hails with the water run down the deepest rut that I was trying to get up! Had to help a few females up the hills as an excuse to stop ! and have a go when nobody else could see.!
hope the next round is dry as I need to get a good one so I'm not languishing at the bottom of the table lol. Hope and am parying that maramarua is dry

Well A&R looks like we are both in the wars.
If your not falling of your are not trying.
Sorry to here about the elbow, problery just like me going to break the news to my boss on monday, "I told you not to ride that bloody motorbike".
A bit of a running joke at work, always come back from holiday with a injury. But thats what biking is all about.

yeah was quite pleased with start. wheeling it half way to first bend! entering 3rd behind a yz and a suzuki i think.
couldn't really see due to dust from yz in front i was trying to overtake in the first downward dip. hit big whoops in rut which sent me sideways rest is history.:doh :slap:
hospital reckoned shoulder usually goes first so assume landed with bent arm?
this is bloody slow finger typingwith left hand!
on the usual painkillers have some nice bruising travelling up arm which has now reached shoulder - my kids are impressed!
my boy came 4th in 7-9yr olds on a crf70 so was pretty pleased as only his 2nd ever race.

Well off course. The RM is always going to get the holeshot over a 250 CRFX ha ha!
    How did you go Chop?

And A&R, try increasing your compression damping next time. Get healed soon.

Yes this is true!! Im happy with how i went, i got 14 out of 43,3rd in my age group and 8th in my cc rating. Not bad really all my lap times were really close about a minute in it. After two rounds(woodhill and maramarua) im 24 out of 75. So not too bad considering woodhill was a right off after i smashed me and my bike up second lap!
