Maybe it was an LPG-powered scooter?

Poor chappy was only looking for some exctement in his otherwise dull, humdrum life. Now, if he could only find that accident life would be sooo much more exciting, for a short time anyway To the rider wiff da gass bottle

I know of a guy who rode around through town in a Gixxer 250 3 times with no helmet and didn't get caught for it. Oh yea, he also had a pillion but he was wearing a helmet. On the other hand the bike didn't have any pillion pegs so I guess that was kinda dodgy as well

Are you sure the bottle wasn't blue and didn't read "NOS" across it?

I've got a film clip of a racing goped with lots of trick parts, an expansion chamber and NOS, drag-racing a souped up Corvette, and absolutely blitzing it.
The goped was still less than 50cc!
Weird clip though; the rider was wearing a helmet, shorts and a T-shirt, and sneakers. Would've been fun if he'd got the speed-wobbles...

Someone had a Vespa with Z900 mounted in it at the Brass Monkey in the mid 90's.

It was properly done but the seat bascially sat on the 4 exhausts which looped out and back over the heads and straight through the body work.

How would you recommend he carry it?

You think taped to the bars would be better?

Good thinking, in an accident it would probably fly off to explode near someone else.

Nah, where it was was o.k., in the event the rider lost control the bottle would fall off and roll away from the scene of the impending crash!!!
Of course if it was me on the scooter the damn bottle would become hooked on my boot lace and get dragged to the scene of the crash

If it was me, it would fly up in the air, crack me on the head, then I'd end up impaled on it.
    Then it would explode.

Actually, two hundred mile an hour tape strapping it ot the pillion seat would be far better, although this would rase the question of a high centre of gravity I suppose, maybe why he opted for the bewtween the legs idea?
