HILL!

Every time it's called a hill, it makes me laugh.

You'ld have to push your marble pretty hard for it to roll to the bottom of that "Hill".

Down right embarassing when they call it ''the MOUNTAIN''!!!! And what's with all the name changes on the corners? What happened to the Denny Hulme corner? oh,that old fart,he was just a F1 Champ and drove some orange sports cars in the US.I've been going to that track since it first opened - you'll have to talk me around,I have no idea what you are on about.

i guess the point is there is an elievation change and as ya get over the top into the right hander it drops away onto the start finish straight,
it doesnt seem like much at road speed but up the pace and its a definite elevation change.

Jeepers, guys. What is it with the endless "no, no, I'm not worthy - YOU are so fast, so lightning-quick, so mind-blowingly smooth in the corners - I bow before you" posts? I mean, once or twice, fine, but I'm seeing them flying in every direction, over and over, often back and forth between the same people!

*I* should bloody well get out there and show you what slow REALLY looks like.

Dude I can only speak for myself here But I think TS and KK and MR will agree with me.
I know Im quicker than some people on both the road and on the track BUT Reality is I've got a hell of o lot to learn
When riding with people like the trash man and yohan
and in my racing class like mitch and mr wiggles It is glaringly clear that I have a heck of a long way to go.
Those of us wanting to improve our road/race riding (and lets face it thats most of us) we do need to look at our riding -find our faults and work on them.
It isn't that we need ego boosts dude believe me. :eyepoke: It really is a case of "when the flag drops the BS stops"
Personally I'm more in need of positive criticism right now
( eg -try a wider entry into the esses -you will get better drive) than -Ohh frosty you're a nutcase you ride so fast.

You ever ridden over it at full tit, mate? The off-camber roll down to the straight has been the demise of many a bike, car, kart and truck.

I love the 'hill' - or definite change of elevation....was good on the VTR and R1........did tend to drag you to the outside tho.

Never seemed to have a problem on it. The VTR did tend to bottom out a little on it tho....the R1 was fine. Full throttle I think not.....

I actually didn't like the corner before the hill with that stupid bump in the middle
