Have just done a track day at Taupo on the old track,I put on a set of Super Corsas, ran at 34psi rear,30psi front.
The front wore really nicely but the rear has strange wear.
Is it wrong pressure or a suspension issue?
Any advice appreciated.

I had similar wear but not as bad, mine was due to low preasure. I had 43Deg once hot which was low for tyre (MEZ1), I was told.
Front was 42Deg (hot) with little balling up at edges only.
Need more info~
Did you check hot or cold? That's too low for a hot tyre, but then how hot exactly??? Easier to play the psi game at cold.
At a glance I'd say you need to run more psi but there's quite a few factors that might cause that including suspension/riding technique/style/how ham-fisted you are with the throttle. Then again, track riding chews tyres - so nothing new there...
Good luck~![]()
Keep it rubber-side down...
See Robert Taylor for any Ohlins requirements www.northwest.co.nzThanks Colemans SuzukiThanks AMCCI use DID Chains and Akrapovic Exhausts
Tyres were checked before i started so were def cold pressures, checked again the day after with a better guage and the rear was at 30psi.
Regarding the spring I had it on position 6 of 9 and it'd spin the rear easily exiting a corner without squatting.
Time to ring Robert Taylor maybe to see about a nice bit of Ohlins?
Thanks mate!
Most people I've heard of using Supercorsas go 30f/29r or thereabouts. Might want to try that. And as above, go see Shaun H, it's worth the trip.
...
Have Shaun on the case now, heres hoping it'll get sorted for the Nov 5 day at Taupo.
