Heads Up and Enjoy
So far I rode from home to work, another 4 hrs I can go the other way.
Soccer - A Gentlemans game played by Hooligans.Rugby - A Hooligans Game played by Gentlemen.
went out through the rotoma's (between whakatane and rotorua), actually turned around and did 2 runs of the rotomas trying to improve on some turns, down to lake rotoma for a tea break and up behind manawahae (rubbed a boot on the ground for the first time which took me by surprise), very twisty, narrow back road down to pongakawa mx track behind matata and back home via edgecombe and thornton. nice little 100km loop that takes in all the best twisties in the closest locations.
I rode home in the rain after bussing into town to pick up my bike which I left at work because I was drunk on Saturday night.
I am a self-proclaimed beacon of social responsibility, thankyou, thankyou all.
Determined to kill my bike before it kills me
To the garden centre and back to get a small packet of fertiliser for my lemon tree. Sum total of about 6 or 7 kms. Poor effort I know but tomorrow's another day.
Grow older but never grow up
I rode back from WINJA's house.
Can't get my bike in for it's scheduled serviced before trackday so I'm saving the K's. Spent the day polishing my red beast.
And washed the bike.
Weather-wise, looks like the lower South Island was the best place to be today - a lovely day for a ride.
Soooooooo,
This morning I put new wheel bearings in the trailer,
This afternoon I spent spreading wood-chips on the garden, then giving a driving lesson to the daughter's boyfriend.
Sometimes priorities suck...........![]()
Can I believe the magic of your size... (The Shirelles)
Went for a bit of a ride.
Don't let a little rain get you down!
