    Hey Mate

Good to see you down here. There are a good few guys and gals in CHCH. Watch out for the old guy on the Guzzi, he isnt actually slow.
I dont have the CBR that I had when I met you up in Blen anymore and doesnt look like I'll be riding for a while yet. All the best while you are here.

Absolutely! I clock more km in winter than summer
If you're game, at least once a year you'll get to ride around on 10cm deep snow

There's plenty of parking at Cant Uni for bikes and it's free provided you ALWAYS park in the bike parks - some parks are covered too. If you run a cage, you'll have to buy a parking spot hunting lic for $40 and there aren't enough spots to go around, street parking after 8:45am is hopeless too. Buses do provide good services to Uni.
90% of the time spent writing this post was spent thinking of something witty to say. It may have been wasted.

Yeah rideable all year round. Just gotta watch out for that peagravel the council loves to spread.
Truth is some of us look forward to the winter as it isn't a dusty ride & the mud is so much fun
