And if it doesn't sound as good tell Mark and he'll change.

You should just tell him you want it to sound like the Kerker.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

As happy as I am with the pipes my first choice would be the Micron Titanium.
Your Scorpions are a nice look...the titanium blue fits in nicely with your paintjob! I'm after a similar look, and Micron does some in red as per the pic I posted.

Mark is also a top bloke and dropped me off and picked me up to/from work when he did the job. Obviously not an option in Auckland, but it goes to show what sort of business he runs.
Thanks Jim, I actually just received the following email from him:

    Hi Mathew,
    Thanks for your inquiry.
We would need your original muffler sent down to us to measure up.
We would pay the courier costs both ways.
The cost of the oval polished or brushed stainless double outlet muffler is $765.00 inc gst & link pipe.
We could have it completed in 7-10 days.
The titanium mufflers are under development but a few months off yet.
You will get in power through mid range & a nice deep throaty sound.

    Best regards

I may well consider this option? Will keep you posted on this thread.

Yeah - I like the Microns as said before.

Would go Akropovic if money was no object.

Ideally you would want the Micron Pipes with the Serpent pipes - wicked believe me!

    Micron do all these colours

I had the large centre one on the R1.

Had alloy Two Bros on the VTR, shit quality, and worst of all, they needed constant buffing/polishing as they dull hell quick. Then went to the Stainless Scorpians - which had nice quality and sound (stickers peel off tho).

Here are some 600F's with Microns on

Scorpian also do the coloured pipes

Here an Ackrapovic pipe for the Honda

    Or you could go Arrow

Or you could go more exotic and go Blue Flame

If anyone owns or has owned any of these brands I would be most interested in your opinion? Thanks.

Is that during working hours Lou?

Do you have a good range in stock or do you have to order in?

    Hi Zed.

I had a Neptune on my R1150R, have them on my 800 and will be getting them fitted to my 1000 shortly.

I agree with Jim, Mark is a top bloke with a great product.

I like the way you can choose your style, and they have a metal badge, not a sticker.

    Being frustrated is disagreeable.

But the real disasters in life begin when you get what you want.

    Have you been away CK?

I binned my bike into a country drain ripping off the same indicator as before, the LH mirror, and slightly denting the muffler & tank. Doing the insurance thing and everything is being replaced new!

Been without 2-wheels for over a week now - it sux.

By the way, Zed - are you making sure all your prospective 'mufflers' are road legal? It would be a nuisance if you bought summat then couldn't get a warrant...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Sorry to hear it. Never caught up with this having been away in Darwin that week and too many threads to read. When I first read this thread today I was wondering why you were into an insurance claim.
    Cheers
