Try being more explicit next time yeah?
    I'll try - but I'm a waffler.

I think I've found one cause: the vacuum nipple I installed on the front cylinder (for easy carb synchs) was loose. Doesn't seem to have unscrewed, but it was never tight to begin with and the O-ring I put under its head was a bit crap. Time for a judicious application of Silastic, methinks...

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    Check the website
    http://www.wileyco-racing.com/Inglese/Main.asp
Came in box with bracket, pipe to main collector box, tee shirt. cap and stickers etc about $180US + $30 US air freight, arrived within a week.
Hi gav, nice website that! How has the condition of your carbon can lasted? I have been told that the finish on carbon mufflers deteriorates quickly. :disapint:

Nice shot...I think Yoshimuras look good on anything!

Did you notice any changes in performance with the pipes & filter, or did they come with it when you bought it?

    From their website:
    Dyno Tested
Scorpion obtains new motorcycle models from our network of dealers as soon as they become available. Then it's straight into the Dyno room where we test the bike with the O.E.M. exhaust still fitted to see where improvements can be made - not just in power and torque, but also ground clearence, ease of fitment and looks.
Each Scorpion exhaust is specifically designed for the particular application. Scorpion exhausts are designed to boost power, not just at peak revs, but through the RPM range, giving you greater throttle response and improved overall performance - especially in the mid-range.
We run computer simulated acceleration tests so we can see how much faster the bike will be travelling over a timed burst of throttle. A scorpion equipped CBR900RR, in just 7.40 seconds, travelled 6 mph faster and covered and extra 39 feet!
    Impressive we think you'll agree!

Will post a pic of the bike on its completion.

I went to the bike shop to collect my old pipe this morning and just couldn't resist cranking the bike over to hear what it sounds like with the new scorpion fitted - it's a totally new throaty growl! Hope it's not too loud as to wake up my new nieghbours?

There was a slight boost in the midrange power, but it was worth the cost just for the sound. It had the originall pipes on when i bought it new but changed them after about 4 weeks, it sounded like a sewing machine before!

Yes Jim, went for a 4 hour ride yesterday with Firefight & 5 other KBr's. It rode like a dream...I think there is an increase in power too because the front kept on coming up, even in 2nd gear!! Sounds and feels nice with the new scorpion fitted - would now most definately recommend to anyone with a sportsbike to get an aftermarket can!

Hey, looking good Zed..... just like mine Are those after market indercators on the rear? I just put some clear lenses on the VTR I had to get em from Oz as there are no such things in NZ, according to my Honda dealer.

I helped a mate put some Neptunes on his Bussa last w/e they look and sound bloody nice (deap rumble) but could be louder and the end caps point outwards which dont like but the owner doesent mind.

Yes, I got two pairs from America. I only put them on the rear though cos they look stupid on the front...will be getting some clear lenses & amber bulbs for the oem front indicators in time.

All good safe fun F/F...but nothing in comparison to the full length standing monos the guy on the Gixxer was pulling down the front straight at Puke when we arrived there to watch after our ride back from Ngaruawahia.
