    Bit of a warning

If you happen to need the Southern m/way north bound between Papakura on ramp and Takanini off, try to use lane two for the next few days, early this am, a six wheeler truck(near new) managed to hit the Walter stevens overbridge, (the conifer grovve one) this was done by accidently raising the hoist of the tipper to full height, and striking the bridge at approx 100kph.

For some reason, the whole tipping deck/body, hydraulic ram and approx 60L of hydraulic oil ended up on the motorway(go figure), the now empty cab and chassis ended up about 400m up the motorway.

Any truckies amongst KB will know that ,while it is not impossible to change gear in a roadranger gearbox while the pto is engauged, it is a bit harder than normal, add to that the fact that most of the newer trucks have a "PTO engauged lights and even audible buzzer/bell, this guy has some explaining to do, anyway getting back to the road surface, for some reason Fulton Hogan rather than the fire service tried to clean up the road, basically all that has been done is to trail some Oil sorb powder over the mess (we call it Kitty litter), this stuff mixes nicely with a bit of rain to provide a nice meesy/slippery surface, so watch out guys and girls.

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
