    How long since you've done a restore. If it's been a couple of years, then if you've got one then you've probably got a whole lot of crap which needs cleaning out too. If you've not done a system reinstall for ages, then I would definitely advise you to do so, as you will find your machine runs a whole lot faster afterwards aswell.

    Just be careful, I would advise downloading ZoneAlarm firewall and save it on a storage device (cd/portable HDD/Memory Key) before you do it, and making this the first thing you install after reinstalling windows, otherwise you will possibly/probably get viruses in the space of time you spend connected to the net waiting for the updates that will protect your computer.

    And yeah backing up of porn is highly advisable, do it on the internet, and link us the address

    here man .. paste this into a notepad..

    set SRP = getobject("winmgmts:\\.\root\default:Systemrestore")
    CSRP = SRP.createrestorepoint ("MANUALLY CREATED RESTORE POINT", 0, 100)

    save as a .vbs on your desktop and right click to open in command prompt.. this will create a restore point BEFORE you do anything stooopid

    and its quick..

    any nerds can validate this as real and not dodgy

    Get a free Ubuntu live CD. Put this in the CD drive and reboot before going surfing. Do NOT mount the hard drive. Use a memory stick if you need to save something (don't use one you use when the hard drive is booted). Absolute immunity from any nastiness. whatsoever Ain't NUFFIN going NOWHERE with that setup. And surfing is just fine. I've been using it for the lats month since my windoz install crapped out. Just can't be bothered fixing windoz , ubuntu is so easy and simple.

    Linux viruses.....

    I have 7 or 8 years of running Linux PC's under my belt by now - no protection, it's not necessary. Just enjoy using your PC, not worrying about it breaking!
