I have 3 kids who ride and are continually asking to go somewhere after school 16:00 -20:00 now the evenings are drawing out. Does anybody know if thunderpark stays open at this time and is it suitable for a slow 13 yr old on a crf100?! or will she get knocked off and give up!!! I heard Ardmore can be a bit fast and furiuos for learners.

try onehunga, you can get a key and go when ever you like. the jumps are just about all table tops and teh ones that aren't are avoidable. plus there is a kiddies track. Try it out in teh weekend.

if you can stay upright on a bike and have a reasonable amount of confidence, ardmore will be fine.

As GR81, BuddyL and GTAe can attest to I was a definate learner when I started at Ardmore and I absolutely loved it!

Also that last time I went out there on a wed arvo were three little fullas on CRF50's and JR50's out on the track by themselves. The big buys just take their time around them, its their responsibility.

I would unreservedly recommed Ardmore as a learner track

Ardmore is open every wednesday afternoon and all day Sunday.
This Sunday is racing though, so probably not the best time to come for the first time.
