    Fraud

CB here, I feel like a fraud because I have had my licence for (yeah however long it takes to get wrinkles around your........eyes) and today I had to go to a staff meeting so I took out the T Sunrise (Tequila sunrise christened) to travel the 26 k's while scummy was away. Last trip was 5 minutes around the block, a bit wobbly and a few months ago. Think about breathing.
Huffed and puffed it out of the garage hoping I didn't scrape the tassels off past the door frame and sat it out in the driveway. Start breathing.
Get back inside and look at time - an hour to go, 20 minutes travel (in the cage), polish the boots, get out the tassels. Breathe.

    Fraud Part II

Text the old fella to advise I may be on the bike. No message back within 5 secs so must be okay to take out the T Sunrise.
Dressed and put in ear plugs so I couldn't hear my cell phone ringing from scummy.
Start the bike, choke out (and it was still out when I got home 3 hours later!! never mind lots to concentrate on never mind the breathing).
Get up to the main road and start off, gosh this seems easy... oooopps watch out for that green strip in the middle of the road - smelly b's...
Nice easy trip to work and make it in to the carpark safely and stop the bike and PARK. Breathe, breathe, breathe...
Squeak into the room and try to sit quietly on a vinyl seat..., squeak, squeak. EVERYONE noticed the bikey gear.
Three meetings later and one of the friendly people enquire if that is my machine, it has a flat tyre. (Scummy has just put on new rubber and shit will he be pissed) BUt it was a bad joke. BREEEAAAATTTHHEE.
Back out of carpark, start bike while doctors surgery patients all glued to window and struggle off into the street and onto the main road. Cruise back to home and what luck, no green strips but that grey maxima is mighty close but he backs off so at least I can relax a bit. Head over the hill to turn off and mentally crossing fingers to hope don't have to stop in main road - phew all clear. OH Holy, who put that gravel on our street!! Take it quietly.... charge up to the driveway and press the stop button (boy you guys don's know what a struggle it is to kick a bike over and overbalance or get the kickback.).
Scummy strolls out and looks the bike over "see you have hit a few bugs" - oh is that why I couldn't see past the black spots on my screen. Step off the bike and put the stand down first of course - just like a pro!!
Oh yes I can breathe and lets crack open a can so I can stop shaking.
    Till the next time eh......
    Well with weather like this.

Amazing what happens as soon as your back is turned and you're at work.

Woohoo!! Way to go. I reckon you done good. It's hard enough being confident on a bike (when you haven't been on one for awhile) let alone a big one.

So being on the back gawking at the scenery and smelling the smells while trusting the one on the front is not being a big one
I enjoy the freedom and I guess that is why you all choose to ride..
Guess I will just drink up and shut the f up and to the guy who waved to me today while going the other way on HIS bike.

    Great work CB.

Now you just got to convince him to buy you a "real bike".

Thanks for your support guys and I really enjoyed myself riding the big bike. We took the bike out for a quick ride yesterday while is was such a gorgeous afternoon and went to KP for a quick drink. Picturesque. Pity about those nasty nose curling smells on the way but fortunately they pass quickly. Lots bikes out and about yesterday with quite a few heading down to Invers and back. Today is not such a good day with a light drizzle trying hard to happen at present.
Keep upright and hey, at least you aren't on the underside or you wouldn't be reading this.
