they have done alot of work on the track. It is a real nice ride over it now. Still have to be aware that it is not a racetrack but if you cut across out masterton way it is a good loop.

Glad to hear you're o.k. The Pahiatua Track is rutted to hell in many places due to the massive number of trips the Kiwi milk tankers go over it. Hurry up & get a job in Welly so you can play on the Taka's every day.
Hell yeah. I am hanging out for a job eh. Coming down next Wednesday to do some door knocking. The Takas are awesome, they scare the crap out of me. Thats a good thing.

Thanks for all the replies people.
The track is real rutted in some places but there is a real long smooth section that I play on!

i had a good play on the takas last weekend. at least going up from featherston side was good. got to the top and there was a definite line across the road. coming down wellington side was 1st and 2nd gear. Couldn't see 2 feet in front of me. not fun at all.

I think I'll have to agree with Dover this time, I've seen more damage done to a bike during a U Turn fall over. That cover hardly looks ground touched, what realy happened?

Just got back from having another go at the track. Yeah yeah I know, I should be at work. I took some photos of where I lowsided. I am happy enough to say that It would have been rider error, although there is a neat little slip that I could blame it on now. I am sure that wasn't there when I crashed though. Nice day out there today, do I need to remind anyone what a beautiful country we live in.

Yeah thanks for the support Dover. Appreciate it. This been my first off and all. At least I'm back out there riding. Maybe a mod would like to change the title to medium speed low side to satisfy dover.

No I think it was my error. Nothing a bit of experience can't fix!
