I phoned the distrubutor today as i had not seen it for a while on the shelf. Aparently the last issue was back in October that they had. The twin eagle web site is also no more. Like you said it was a great mag pity to see it go

I go for the kiwi stuff - doesn't have all the porn. Gotta support local stuff too eh?! Just wish they'd have some better articles and columns sometimes, like the Brit ones do.

    Classic Bike (getting boring)
    The Classic motorcycle (always good)
Bike (Ogri is my hero, Dan Walsh is a close second)
MCM (Motorcycle Consumer something) Got given a sub. Bloody good mag. NO advertising! Non glossy, tells it like it is... Interesting...
MGNOC Newsletter (I'm a staff writer so I gets it for free - cool eh?)

    Cheers

Fred Gassit in the Aussie mag was good, but Maynard (the scooter with sidecar, koala for passenger? ) was just weird
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Does anyone else remember the Aussie fortnightly mag "Revs"? It was great, but sadly folded. They had a wonderful comic strip about a scooter with a sidecar, "Eric and Douglas" - the one in the sidecar was a koala. One day at (the old) Bay Park at a club day, two of my mates put a chair on a Vespa and the one in the chair dressed up in a koala suit - it was classic.

I have about 10 copies of REVs I have kept them for the posters of the first generation GSXRs.

If ever I'm in Whangarei I'd like to have a look if that's okay - sadly in various moves I've lost all my copies. I caught up with Mike Esdaile recently at the Post Classic meeting at Pukekohe - he was editor for a long time. Very interesting bloke, knows heaps about bikes.

PS: I haven't been to Whangarei for years and years and years, so don't go sorting them out just yet!

Yeah, you're right, Eric and Douglas. Maynard was another cartoon and it was strange. I've got some old bike mags up in the roof, may be some REVs and AMCNs up there

Pete: if ever you're searching through and find any REVs, I'd really love to have a look at them if that's okay.
