    Gonna get a wet arse

Missed out on a ride yesterday afternoon because Mother said it would rain and she doesn't ride in the rain. Didn't rain. Today I'm off from Hamiltron (City of the Future) to a Triumph MCC meeting at the Waikino Pub in the Karangahake gorge.
It's a great ride there and back but it really is going to rain. Hard. Still, yesterday's ride was about the bonding thing, you know, man and missus off for a mug of mocha at a nice caf' in a neighbouring village; today's my ride. Only thing is, last time we had a sunday meeting at the waikino pub it was closed...

Also, it's arse, not ass. That's USA american, the sort of the Geargedubbya thinks is gospel, so it's gotta be wrong.

Yep. great ride, as always. Cross-wind from hell on the swamp road over the Hauraki plains then wet as a shag on the way home. What's the story with 100% water proof gear? Had alledgedly 100% water proof cordura pants with the added protection of 100% water proof over-trou. Result not too flash for me piles... Jacket was fine.

Boots, as always, were 100% waterproof. Didn't let a drop out!

Maybe us American's only say it to stand out from everyone else. And Ass was around long before that fuck-wit ever took office. But only another two years and he can never become president again. How come NZ doesn't have the same thing for uncle hellen?

Maybe the US isn't a true democracy?

Last I checked, the people had a vote as to what laws were passed locally and who actually got a seat in the senate rather than just wich party gets what number of seats.

Sounds like a democracy to me. Did you get to vote on weather the money Labour overspent for thier election campain was legal or not?

Yep, surely was. Very pleasant place to stop and tell a few lies. Not the best day for a drink though, keeping the old wits to the fore took precedence with the shitty weather.

Feckin Hag. Embarassingly, NZ led the world in giving chicks the vote and look where it's got us.

Nah, technically the USA is not a democracy, but a representative republic, or some such thing. It's very similar, but instead of the people voting on laws, in the USA they vote people in to vote on laws for them. Or something like that.
