I'm sooooo relieved I came through. I found reading about other members' experiences to be very helpful and it's good to know they have been through the same stuff and passed with flying colours. I did my test at AA Westgate, the examiner was helpful and said that if he didn't see either side of my helmet (from scanning/checking the road), he would fail me. He basically followed me indicating left or right, flashing his lights so I was constantly checking my mirrors to see which way he was indicating or if he was about to pull over. He actually did pull over, got out of his car and I thought "oh oh, what have I done now?" lol. He told me to speed up to 45/50km/h as I was only going 40 and I didn't look confident riding (I think I was just nervous), after that I sped up and was fine. At the end of the test, he got me to perform a quick stop and commented that my scanning/checking was excellent.
