Are The GSXR1000 K's the new Harley's?

Seams the be a hell of a lot of them braking down on rides I've been on lately and not because they have been dropped ether. Know of two that have had wire loom shorting problems. 3 broke down on the Norf ride over the weekend. Quickie did his clutch. OK Kevin's died cause the radiator got a hole in it and Can's was due too loosing his fairing nuts due too the ruts on the last section of metal ride to Cape Reinga.
But it looks like the Jinxers will no longer hold the right to hassle HD riders about reliablity.

Fu*k, have ya been riding backwards, cause these bikes weren't going anywhere.
Althought the ones on the trailers might have been too fast for ya.

im told new harleys are reliable, still rather have a gsxr tho, even if it did break down

Gixxers will have problems coz the engines are over stressed - just ask The Dover.

2 strokes are very reliable. You try making a 4 stroke engine with 250bhp per litre - naturally aspirated, and see how long it lasts.

Tuned NSR250 - 65hp

65hp x 4 - 260hp per litre.

If they were Harleys, they'd run forever. All the rentals I've had on the fleet have been damn near bulletproof.
Perhaps you mean, "are Gixxers the new Ducati".
