I don't know, it was already on my bike when I bought it.
Yeah most new bikes don't have em, maybe its a weight savings thing or perhaps the manufacturers make up their losses with the sales of new radiators
I wasn't saying anything personal I didn't know your NC30 broke down. Its just some Honda's have rectifier faults......
My NSR needed its rectifier replaced, as did a friends. A very common fault.

Yep every bike has it's faults. With my 1991 GSXR250, it was shitty coils. A know problem with those Suzuki's. Answer was replace them with more reliable Quacker or Honda coils. With the CBR it's the Cam Chain adjuster.

You dont know what the f... you are talking about!!! My bike had problems after the exhaust was changed and the power valve was removed meaning wiring had to be altered in the loom and was probably not put back in the correct possition, I think you need to get your facts right. A number of Honda Blackbirds I have heard of had the top rear shock mount break off, and the sub frame where the pillion footrests attach buckled, and people still bought them. Any one can get a hole in their radiator and if clutches are abused they will fail, no matter what bike you are on.
