    Niiiice!

That's lovely and has me thinking along lines I never thought I'd think. Damn.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

    No, that's perfectly normal.

I need to see it in action on a dirt track or gravel road before I give it the final tick of approval....but I've ticked all the other boxes.

Something tells me that it wouldn't be a patch on the true-blue XR-750 on a dirtrack....but be great around some twisties like the Rimu's.

I don't think so, I think it's like comparing an SV1000 with an unfaired Bandit 1200.

So it is a genuine model coming out from HD and not just a concept?

Certainly looks like it will, we've even had a sly email from HD.....
    Maybe a 1/2 year 'early' 08 release.....

or like comparing an SV1000 with an unfaired Bandit 1200 that has had a v-twin installed

Or has Harley taken the complaints from true "afficionados" to heart that the v-rods engine should be air cooled? (referring to the fact that the v-rod is their sportiest model, nothing to do with style!)

I should probably shut up now before I start a flame war

Pissing contests about subjecive motorcycle tastes are pointless. It's hard to have a seamless flamewar if your posts keep hitting PD.

Didn't they design air cooling fins onto the new water cooled motor, ala form over function, to shut those sort of people up?
