Exactly. For the purposes of the greater public good, I think his rego should be published.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

He did post the rego, if you'll read his post properly lol.

Very sorry to hear that happened mate. Some people just seem to have too much testosterone for their small brains to handle. Hopefully the police can be more effective than they were in hXc's case -- then again, like you said, he'll get done for Leaving the Scene regardless.

Hope you're not too badly bruised. Here's hoping your back on the road ASAP.

    Jesus - that sucks mate...

Let the Police handle it first. Mate - don't take this the wrong way OK but seriously you are taking your life in your hands communicating your displeasure at these idiots and you are at a disadvantage on the bike.... Some days ya gotta walk away from these P'd up idiots. After all, you may be in the right but you could be in hospital too... Not worth the agro..

(easy to say not easy to do I know)

Hope it works out for you and if you need a hand with the bike let us know eh?

The "justice" system doesn't seem to be in the real world these days.
They'll find the guy if the car isn't stolen, but then lawyers get involved and judges, and he'll end up getting 100 hours community service, and have to pay for 10% of the bike repair at $5 per week.
It's nuts. And let's not even get started on violent crimes!
The police do as much as they can, limited by law and evidence and manpower, and I don't have too much bad to say about them.

But I'm glad nothing like this ever happens to me, because I will lose it. I'm not that self-controlled or forgiving. I will commit acts of retribution, I will be the number 1 suspect for the firebombing of the wanker's house. I probably will get caught.
There's no justice beyond what you create for yourself.
I hereby call for careful and planned vigilante justice to become widespread and accepted.
If the justice system doesn't provide justice, the citizen must.

Oooh, that sounds like Franklin or someone else cool and historic.

That sucks man, good luck with getting her all prettied up. Press as many charges against him as you can and ask about things like assault with intent to cause harm or whatever you can think of. Try get his ass in jail or at least off the street. Let us know what the cops do and if its not sufficient then we can go give him a spanking

thankyou for wise words, i know i should have just put up, gone a different way, but it just ticks me of man, every one here has had a similar story im sure, so i guess im the unlucky one where the roadrage clown actualy goes to violent means. Thats a bitter pill to swallow, i hope i can learn from it.

AND I HOPE THAT JUST ONE PERSON READING CAN AVOID A C**T LIKE THIS.
just get the fk away from idiots. oh if anyone knows of a good place to source fairings, get paint done, get chasis checked out (felt fine riding hope with police escort..) im open to all recommendations for welly hookups.

Thumbs up Ps: Massive Thumbs Up To The Officers Attending!

Massive thankyou to constable McKenzie and his partner who attended the scene, they were so helpful, escorted me home to a safe park, took me to a&e and saw me safe. Very thorough and very reasuring with everything. -THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

*and cheers for understanding the loss of my pride and joy and consequently not hassling me about my upset "oh f***" language! *blushes*

Hear what you're saying there, the missis got followed home by some fucked up cunt after she gave him the fingers, he pushed her up against the car but she held her own (thank fuck)....
only thing is once some cage cuts you off/doesn't see you etc. etc. it gets pretty bloody hard not to get all agro!!

Anyway good luck with the insurance and shit, these things normally work themselves out in the end.

Yeah, gotta agree on this. While on your bike, no matter how right you are, you're still at a dangerous disadvantage. It goes completely against my competitive, combative grain but the situation remains; in a bike vs car hit there's only going to be one loser.

Sorry to hear about your "incident". Lets hope you get more justice than hXc did. By the way, there is NO such crime as road rage - it is assault. Make sure it is treated as such by the police.
Good luck and good wishes for a speedy recovery, for both you and your bike.

Gimme a call if you need a hand...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them
