I had food poisoning on monday...stay away from bad meat(especially pies!!!). I was on the toilet from 4am until noon and lost two kilos. Still it's the smallest my stomach has looks in ages.

Muslims don't seem to want to be liked from what I can tell. First cartoons and now their own woman, whats next?

One of the more enlightened reads on this subject. Traditionally Muslim woman were streets ahead in their rights as against Christian woman. I stress traditionally. This has now changed. This clerics views represent the most bigited of the Muslim male point of view. Unfortunately becasue of his 'mana' this point of view becomes the accepted view of mulslim men here in the Souther Hemisphere.

I have read in some detail Islamic history and their religouse veiws. I long ago came to the opinion that this kind of degenertive assertion that woman are the cause of their own sexual attacks should legislated against. It is after all a crime to incite violence. I believe that these remarks are in that catagory.

Lived in the middle of a muslim neighbourhood in the UK and you get used to it very quickly.

They are polite, deferrential, and the intensely muslim Afghanis who ran the local curry house were both very nice people and made 19 thumbs up curries.

yup. I can vouch for jim2's take on living amongst them in the UK, it's not called Bradistan for nothing.

fucking good curries, but I think the climate over there is changing and there is certainly increasing hostility from some of the younger muslims.
