    New chain for 97 Blackbird

It is getting to that time.. The last time I replaced a chain was on a very old CB200 in my teens.. There was a great place (read MUCH cheaper than the bike shops) in Seaview here in Wellington.

My questions are - does anyone know if the place still exists (I think it was one of the marine supply outfits), if so what is it called and what is the address and would this be suitable for replacing the chain of a 97 CBR1100XX?

Good luck in finding a well-priced chain but avoid a low spec chain on a B/B because you'll get uneven stretching really fast and that will be false economy. Incidentally, my chain has lasted over 35000 km using a Scottoiler and it's still in great nick.

Chains are a lot more affordable than when the CB200 was common. Back then, a decent chain seemed like 6 months wages.
The best way to forget all your troubles is to wear tight underpants.
