    Love, Speed & Loss.

Anyone else watch this, It just screened on TV3.

Was the story of Kim Newcombe as told by his dieing wife, a woman who was shattered by his death and never seemed to recover, we find out at the end that she blamed herself for his death her entire life.

    Powerful film.

    Brill piece of history

Yeah watched it also, was absolutely amazing doco - the passion and the energy you could feel from the respondents was evident. Made me want to get my bike out and go for a blat!

The footage was great, watching the racers bump start their machines reminded me of Xerxesdephat ... old school and very cool. Just incredible how young Kim started out and the things he did before he died.

It was clever how they foreshadowed his demise, if not a bit butt clenching wondering when they would get to talk about it. The fact that they had footage was made me a bit And all through it, his poor wife was relating her experiences and the aftermath of it.

Very powerful piece of TV that is and definitely covered all aspects of the motorcycling race circuit at that time. The attitude of the race promoters and hospital Unbelievable!

Compulsive, controversial, informative and must-see TV (for once!)

Yeah I watched it too, but I missed the first part. It was so sad!
Another brilliant Kiwi Motorcyclist who died far too young.

Still suffering the after effects of watching that doco.

Stayed up and saw it and then have just watched it again.
I have phoned tv3 and put in a viewer feedback. Congrats to the makers of that documentary. Simply unbelievable.

My respect for Janeen is beyond words. A woman truly in love until the end.
