What a pretty piece of paper!

My temporary restricted licence, that is!!!

I am now an "r" me hearties!

Sat my test this morning in Lower Hutt - great tester, he was on a bike as well, which was cool. We did a simple route, then turned around and came back. I got told I could go a bit faster and thus found out that my speedo reads 5-10 kph over what I am actually doing.

Now I may go 100 LEGALLY - cool!

It was really easy, dunno why I was nervous...

Stopped at my parents house on the way home to tell Mum the good news - we had a "cut off the L plate" picture and a nice cup of coffee.

Now I suppose I should go and study for my exam....

Me and my imaginary friend have been goin' round the bend for some time now....

Yep - he had an oldish Yamaha of some description. He was good and set em at ease right away. Even though I tried to take off the first time in NEUTRAL. That didn't work too well, but after that it was sweet.

Now just six more months or so and I can do the next test - yipee!

PS - my bike looks much more swish without that yellow square on it!

Congrats - i passed today too.
The hardest part wasn't the driving but following instructions.
    And riding a CBR250 at 50 km/h
I was riding it as my bike has a bald rear tyre, he didn't even check that I could tell...
