Would you take a car to a bike rally?

Well i would have thought the overwhelming answer would be no. Apparently I am wrong. Prizegiving for the 4 point rally was last night and out of the 88 entrants about 15 bikes showed up. The rest of the entrants showed up but did so in their car?! I was really keen to get in there yesterday afternoon and see 88 bikes lined up in a row. Not to be. Very disappointing.. Might as well have a poll to see if it is just me or if this is the norm.

Used to take a car and a bike. Wifey would bring car plus booze and food and i wouldn't have to carry any gear. Very popular car that was.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Yes, but only as backup / support. Wouldn't be the first choice.

Can't see any problem turning up to the after do (prizegiving) in a car being the rally part was over.
It's not like PJ had to turn up dressed like a hobbit to collect his Oscar.... Brass monkey or Cold kiwi in a car..hmmm,that might be different.

cowboyz, gee you should have gone for a walk around some of the motels, as we had about 18bikes for the fourpoints,at the motel on albert street, most of the rider's wanted to stow their gear and have a few drink's, and be able to go back to their units and not worry too much with drinking and riding, great evening through and good few laugh's,

yeah. I realise that some of the trvellers left their bikes at the motel. Alot of the locals brought their car though. I asked quite a few where their bikes were and they told me they didn't want to bring it and brought the car. If your having too many drinks to ride your bike home then I would think you would have had too many to drive home anyway. Each to their own. I was looking forward to seeing all the bikes that were on the rally. Not to be.

There was still 1 card to get therefore the rally wasn't over. Bit like PJ releasing LOTR3 with no costumes. I guess for many "almost" is good enough.
