Mt Ruapehu Parking?

Does anyone know where there might be some secure garaged parking for motorbikes on Ruapehu, Whakapapa Village.

We are looking at heading down over new years for a few days but are not willing to leave the bikes in the car park unattended for that period of time. Not to mention the chance of them getting blown over with the wind up there

You could try contacting RAL directly and asking if it would be possible to leave the bikes in one of their sheds up there. They have machinery sheds at the bottom of the loop road and there is a garage attached to the medical centre.
