I actually wore the L plate for the whole 6 months - even on KB runs - it can be done!
Congrats, welcome to the next level, and guess what, there is still more learning to be done

I have been riding for a few ummm .... er... decades... and still haven't figured it all out yet, live to ride, ride to live

Cheers for that - even when I have my full licence there will still be learning to be done - when I meet a motorcyclist who claims to know it all then I know I will have met a liar....with a short life expectancy! If we don't keep learning we go backwards.

Congrats on making it to the next stage - and being able to legally ride at over 70kph.

Using an L-plate to avoid a $400 fine is like having to wear a condom to avoid STDs... it cramps ya style and looks dumb, but it could irritate like hell if ya don't.

Welcome to KB mate - you don't have to take your foot out of your mouth to post on KB but it occasionally helps!

Na, just tell him since he knows everything to get off, buy a cage and any passenger to wear a t shirt with the logo
