Looking for a 45kg MX bike?

    Check this out!!

Quite neat. I'd personally go for a 2 stroke motor like a 80 MX one or maybe a 125 if I was making them. Still they would be a heap of fun. Not too bad on teh price either. I don't think I'd go for the titanium just to save 10kg........

It would be fun for a wee while, but itsa too much a jack of all trades and master of none. A downhill bike will be more fun, as will be a motorcrosser.

And how can they expect a mountainbike tire to keep traction with any sort of power through it. Shows that they arent make much hp

Okay - think I'll take the engine out of the wife's RG150 and slot it into my Muddy Fox X-Country MTB.

    What a good idea.

a mate and i biked up to big boys toys end of 2004 but missed it. next day we were going around the auckland bike shop and as we were leaving so where these guys and i got to ride it. it was the 88c on. found it very underpowerd and gear shift was a night mare. i think they have fixed the gear shift though but power would be my concern. good fun though but carries a heavy price tag

They look awesome and the start of something good.

I just dont know how those shocks or brakes would hold out in action - even a trail ride situation. I agree that a little 85 or 125 stroker would be good on a light wieght frame like that. The tires would also be a big problem, even though you can get a MX wheel for the back i have enough trouble as it is sometimes getting the front to do what its told with a 21 inch MX tire so i really dont know how the front mountain bike wheel would hold out in the mud haha.

Would still be fun to have a play around on none the less.

I saw these being played with at the BMX track in Albany, seemed like a bit of fun in that enviroment.
