    Deaf Blind Cunts

I am sick to near death (seriously!) of deaf blind cunts who pull out in front of me. You know the type, their neck is so frozen up they can't (or won't) turn to look so they just go and hope! They are so blind they can't see two headlights bearing down on them, and when I lean on my horn (such that it is) right behind them, they can't hear it and still don't see me! The first time they do see me is when I cruise past shaking my fist. I sure that down at the RSA it's all my fault - 'cause all I do is go around shaking my fist at the elderly, AND THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHY. CUNTS!!!!!

Yes it happened again today; just entered a 4 lane intersection at a little under 80 kph (80 is the speed limit), and this prick just pulled out of a free left turn in front of me. Nowhere to go, gutter to the left, courier van to the right - I slowed down ok, but a beginner rider may not have been so lucky.

IF YOU CAN'T SEE THE THING THAT'S ABOUT TO RUN INTO YOU, THEN IT'S TIME TO GET OFF THE ROAD - PERMANENTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right, Rant Over, I feel better - till next time.

I need some air horns. Does anyone have some ideas for those?

yep this all part of riding a bike....some lady did same to me today, but she looked at me and still pulled out............I am pretty certain I did not register but we all know that all side roads are hazards and most of the time we live to tell the tale

Grab it from nippynormans .. they ship to NZ and it will cost you a total of about $100.

They shipped mine on wed, so it should be here by the end of next week.

How on earth do you expect them to see you on a bike when they have trouble seeing me driving three tonnes of high roof, 4wd van??
The thing's the size of a small house with white bull bars against a green background and they STILL can't see me???
Makes for scary times on the bike........I always cover the brake around town.

Bowling hats in the parcel tray

(Yet) Another thing to look for as you constantly scan for hazards... is bowling hats in the parcel tray. These cars should be avoided at all costs. Was waiting at the lights beside one the other day replete with two clean bowling hats (beside is the safest place, I haven't seen them yet accidentally lurch sideways) and I thought to myself - light will turn green, Fossil will look down and locate the gear lever, look up and check light really is green, look down and relocate gear lever and select gear, look up and recheck light is, in fact green, drop clutch and bunny-hop across intersection leaving time on green for two quick cars to follow. And surely enough, that's what happened.

Should they be more regularly, more rigorously tested? Hell, I'd be embarrassed to be driving like that. When I get too scared or incompetent to drive safely on the road, and surely I'll notice, I'll be off. I know there's the "independence" argument but, hell, I'll sell the car and bore the shit out of some poor rickshaw driver. Perhaps have a "classic" that I can take out and bore more people with on the odd, low-key occasion. But seriously, these people must know they're a menace. We all know when we fuck up, so must they.

Mate, people pull out in front of freight trains at level crossings with lights and bells to warn them not to. What chance do you have of convincing them not to pull out in front of a motorbike?

I don't know what you're supposed to do about it. In my experience piling into the side of their car at 60km/h is usually enough to get their attention. And as a bonus you get to ride in an ambulance and their insurance buys you a new bike...

just checking out those air horns some of them sound great. i really dont know why they dont install air horns when they put them on the showfloor, surely the manufacture could find a place to put air horns on the bike and would be an advantage for the rider.

This problem is not limited to the elderly. Was driving through Glen Innes and this PI in a hiace type van drives out of his drive - forward, not backing - so had a perfect view of me. I saw him eyeball me. You could see the grey matter churning over thinking - me bigger than him - and so he just drove straight out in front of me. I think I will stick to country roads, the city is too dangerous.

I would like to find a source of horns that sound like a KENWORTH. I figure that if someone thinks you are bigger than them, they might pay attention. Let us know how you get on with the horm imports. Will be really interested.
