    Angry I Farking Hate It

Warmer weather has brought with it the curse of ... the static electric shock from the car door.
    I Farking Hate It
Yeah I know, serve me right.
Do those little rubber things that I see hanging off the arse end of cages make any difference? Is the only way to avoid car doors to be stealing an Ariel Atom? Somebody please be the Yoda to my Skywalker and guide me to higher knowledge.

Well, don't lean on the car doors when dismounting then.Sorted.

As to avoiding them, just keep an eye out for parked cars with drivers still in them .

And stay away from left wheel track. More of a problem for scooters and pushies. Except for the odd cunt who thinks its funny to open his door when one is lane splitting. One took the door off a car once that way. No damage to the bike. Oh dear, your door, such a pity, not a good idea openeing it then was it.

If you mean Clive when you get out of a car.... the way to not get zapped it to hold on to a metal section of the door BEFORE you put your feet on the ground. That way you and the car are earthed and no shock.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

Mate, you're too thoughtful to waste yourself on a relationship with woman.

Easiest way is DON'T drive a car.

If you get this a lot you want to take care at petrol stations! Spark - WOOF!

Other than that, if your already out of the car, jump and touch the car while you are in the air. The contact with the metal won't spark cause you won't be earthed.

But you will look like a right goose.
