Is it really necessary to use 4-letter words in our postings? My Mum used to say if you swear it shows your not smart enough; or have enough class to use another word. And no I'm not a christian, I just get tired of being constantly surrounded by public-bar language. That and my kids occasionally read the stuff on here.
A bit of moderation would be good imho.

but where do you draw the line?

at the end of the day... spank runs it, and I have no problems with the job he is doing.... we are representative of society as a whole (well, we do tend to be more in favour of higher speed limits, than lower)

meh... how soon until this topic gets closed?

Yes. Now go find a crusade somewhere else. We don't do PC.

By the way, if I'm swearing, I mean it.

i may have blinders on, but i very rarely see too many foul words here.....at least not half as foul as what they could use.
i suggest you monitor your kids net usage instead....and btw, theyre gonna learn it somewhere. may as well be here.

Seconded, Im sure if Spank didnt want as much langauge as goes on, he would do something about it. And I do commend the mods cause they do a tough enough job as is without having to moderate every second word of some people. The do however manage to get most of the exsessive posts.

But it's done with such sensitivity. How can anyone by offended?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Well, as The Big Yin (Billy Connolly) says,

If you don't like it, Fuck Off.

Don't hang around and wait to be offended - Fuck Off NOW.

Holy 'penis inserted into vagina', this sort of 'faeces' really 'urinates' me off.

The odd four letter word thrown in is ok in my book. After all, we use them everyday in our lives and most swearwords are perfectly acceptable nowadays in the media. Overuse of these words in posts is just extracting the urine and those people will get their buttocks infracted.

Froth for your information only bike related stuff should go in General Biker Ravings. This thread has been moved to a more appropriate forum.

There is a thread on here at the moment doing the rounds, that is getting cleaned out on a dialy basis, i think thats all the mods can do, the thread started off ok but soon turned into total shit, and i mean WTF sort if shit. Two members trading off about incest/racial shit/ beastiality (sp) etc.
If i find that a thread has gone that way and see it on the thread list, i dont even give it the time of day, i can always go to another thread and serve it up there, in a nice way .....

Maurice extends you an invitation to become one of his "special friends" and become a member of his Gay Flower Arranging forum. It should provide you a more appropriate PC experience , and he assures me no naughty words are allowed at all. And everybody is EXTREMELY sensitive, and everyone thinks of the children constantly . (There is a "super special" subforum for the "special friends" who think a *lot* about the children) .

(Behold! Not a sentence element having letter count betwixt three and (six minus one) anywhere in the present submission)
