Thumbs up I've joined the Gixxer club

I wasn’t expecting when I went to work this morning that I would be riding back on a brand new 2006 GSXR750. But the opportunity presented itself to get one in the color I wanted for a cheap price. When I herd that it was the only one of this color in the country I just had to have it.

It was one of the bikes at the Phillip Island press release, but only the blue/white bikes were ridden and my one was just there to show the color. With only 325kms and $1,500 below standard price, I took it.

Big thanks to SARGE for doing the deal, getting it ready so soon and letting me take one last goodbye ride on my SV while the 750 was being readied for the road. I’m gonna miss the V-Twin a lot, but after 7 years of riding SV’s, it was time for a change.

Now if you’ll excuse me I need to inform the members of my SV site that the site owner no longer owns an SV.

    I can't say anything but,

    OMG!!!!

What's gonna happen to the SV site?
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

That is one sweet looking bike. Well done.
just a point here tho - you can't keep doubling your cylinders for ever you know...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Fuck that's a horny looking bike, Spank Me. Congrats.

Have to confess I've been thinking about making the change too - unfortunately I have too many financial commitments at the mo to be able to do it.
