And secondly, I'm really not even the slightest bit interested, all I'm thinking is how to avoid his/her P.O.S car before his/her randomly eratic and unpredictable driving takes me the F**K out!
I'm actually sorely pissed off at the lack of boy racers who take me on.

I think it's the mean ass note from the Two Bros full system that makes their manhood shrink and prevent them from embarassing themselves.

I remember a few more did it when the standard pipe was on...so much fun was had, staying right by the driver's window until he grabbed second gear, then lifting the front wheel and pissing off...it's the small things that make you feel good sometimes

I found that going from having a plain as black helmet (and black gear) to a flash sporty stripy helmet definitely ellicted a few more challenges. If you look sporty then it seems to help.

Having said that, if I pulled up next to a BR and rev'ed my bike a bit and looked at them then they would give it a nudge. But then that would be a bit wanky.
"If life gives you a shit sandwich..." someone please complete this expression

    It's all about style.

If you have the horsepower to blow anyone off the road (well 98% of anyone) ... why do you need to prove it? Some dick pulls up and wants a go it's just a satisfying to not stifle the laughter as it is to actually blow them into the weeds.

They gain nothing by taking you on. The gain nothing by not taking you on.

The biggest lesson I learned around this whole thing was by a couple going up a huge hill just south of New Plymouth (Burgess Park hill for the locals). I was on a GPZ550 and they were 2 up on a FJ1200. Horsepower to burn.

I naild it past having fun up the hill - left them behind and got stuk behind a car further up. They passed me at just the right time. No undue acceleration, no apparent hard work and no speeding.

Just pulled out and passed me when they had the right of way and they beautifully locked me in behind that car while we all proceeded the length of Coronation Av at 5:00. Like I said - pure class.

It ain't about how fast you go. It's about style. If you've got it, and you know how to use it... then you get my respect.

Thats it snuffles, as far as I can see the name boy racer came from the police ? didn't it ? If thats the case I'm a boy racer and I'm 57 !!! and before you ask , I was a policeman too (but a real one , not a ticket writer)
I get pulled quite often in my MR2 , surprises them when they see an old fart behind the wheel. Gaz.

Funny that you mention that. I've gone form a race rep type helmet to a plain black helmet (HJC CL-SP), and car drivers don't seem nearly as keen to race me. In fact they seem to be far more civil.

I'm pretty sure this is a good thing.

yes but im sure you dont race down a 50km street at 120 odd kms like i have seen down our street.
Remember, when somone annoys you that it takes 42 muscles to frown,...
it only takes 4 to muscles to extend your arm and bitchslap the f#%#er upside the head
