Owners of 05/06 ZX6R - restore your missing 10 hp in 10 minutes

If any of you with the Kawasaki 636 2005 OR 06 models haven't already heard, I can confirm the rumour that our North American models are detuned by about 10 hp from the euro spec versions to pass Yank noise or emission tests. This is discussed at length on Kawiforms.com if you want more details and full instructions with pics on the process. Took me less than 10 minutes to remove seat, find the terminal box and connect two terminals with a piece of fuse wire. Today at Taupo track was my first chance to let rip and I can say based on my unofficial 'bum' dynometer the bike pulls harder and faster to redline now. According to kawiformums some Kawasaki officals from Japan attended a yank track day, and leaked the hot tip on how to restore the bike to it's intended full power output that the Europeans enjoy. My runs at the flying quarter mile recently had me wondering why the bike wouldn't pull to redline in 5th and 6th. That made me suspicious enough to try this quickfix.
This ONLY applies to the 05 and 06 models by the way so don't all get excited about your 03 or 04...

2nd edit- there was some concern on Kawiforums that this tinkering could invalidate your warranty, so remove the hotwire before any service if in doubt!

Here's a link to the instructions- try it at your own risk of course blah blah my lawyers added that.

Any tips on providing ZX6R riders with riding ability and better judgment?

Tha Jandal: Adding another dimension to "rubber side down"

Jandal [jan-duhl] noun: a mythical entity presiding over bikers
Jandal [jan-duhl] verb: "to jandal" is to involuntarily separate from one's boik.
Jandalled [jan-duhlled] past tense - usage: "bro, I've just gone and jandalled it"

Yeah. After observing your riding I have to point out that your ZX6R IS NOT A DIRK BIKE. There, don't say I didn't offer helpful advice. Sorry you were out of action for the day NhuanN. You should have nicked a footset off one of the other ZX6s when the owner was not looking- except that black one of course.
Real tip- try Pirelli Diablo Corsa tyres or even better the Super Corsa Pro. They are amazing.

I got a good Honda you could buy. On the other hand you guys (the Ninja crew) should have a good collect of "used" parts to swap amongst each other to keep yourselves mobile on track days. :-)
