McJim Gonna Stop Whingeing about L plates

Warlock - please accept my humble apologies but I no longer feel quite as animated about the L plates issue coz I passed my restricted test this morning.

I actually wore the L plate for the whole 6 months - even on KB runs - it can be done!

Yeah - it's a real bummer at 10pm - have to take the VTR home and come back out in the Aston Martin.

Well if I do one of these cage based driving courses I could probably get it down to 3 months from now - might just hang on to the VTR for a bit longer though - teach me some humility - also there are a lot of used 'Big Bikes' that cost less than a 2003 VTR250! (so the tight arsed side of me may sell the VTR to save money)

Going to sit my arse on a few before I make a decision though. I know I won't go for anything over 650cc coz of Fuel, Tyre wear, Chain/Sprocket Wear so the long shortlist looks a bit like this:

    SV650S
    Raptor650
    ER6F
    GSXR600
    CBR600
    Ninja 636
    R6
Hyosung GT650R (I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and give it a whirl)

Basically I'm after something with a fixed fairing in the 600-650cc range. I like the V-Twin characteristics but am prepared to try Parallel twin and inline 4 so as not to close down my options.
