    Talking Oooooh yeah...

    After much mucking about...

    1) I have a licence
    2) I have a motorbike
    3) I HAVE A WOF AND REGO!!!

Damn, went for my de-virgining ride today, and it was good... no, wait it was DAMN GOOD!

From Takanini to East Tamaki at about 5pm, and back again just after 8pm.

I got cut off, I ducked and weaved around morons who park in the middle of lanes, I got hot on the way in, and froze my tackle off on the way back. I got the shit scared out of me while sitting at lights by fireworks, and I need to clean my visor due to suicidal moths.

...guess how I'm getting to work tomorrow?

I can now post and not feel like a complete fraud - HUZZAH! bwahaha...

It's weird, all I could think of on the way home while looking at car drivers was "look at those lazy bastards, letting their over-wheeled pieces of machinery do all the work"

    Is that wrong?

Hahahaha congratulations, isn't it the best feeling? (*mumble*you-lucky-bastard-with-a-bike-with-an-intact-cylinder-head*mumble*)

Yeah, please do take it easy... I ride like a nana, because I know I'm useless, but even I get these urges to pass cars at ridiculous speeds along the flush median strips or along the footpath in traffic; I imagine on an Elsie those urges will be multiplied by a factor of ten ^_^.

Good luck, if you get sick of your bike I want it!

It wasn't as bad as I thought, I think so many people were in awe of the stunning yellow machine bearing down on them (okay okay, the stunning yellow machine crawling down the left of the road at the speed limit that they were overtaking) that they dared not take me out...

    *cough*
