Be very careful what you post online. If you have a complaint with any retailer or service provider, you should take matters up directly with them in the first instance. Public witch burnings were banned in the 1700s.

No they weren't. Witches were only burned when they were convicted of heresy under Ecclesiastical law. Which they weren't after the Witchcraft Act of 1536. After that they were hanged. After that women were only burned if convicted of treason (high or petty .And only women: men were hung drawn and quartered for the same crimes) Until the abolition of that punishment in 1790. Witchcraft itself ceased to be a criminal offence , of course, in 1736, which is probably what you are thinking of. I like to get these things straight.
