    "Testing place" needed in Christchurch

    Hey Guys and Girls

Im after a bit of help and advice in CHCH please this weekend please.

A friend ownes a FZR400 race bike and we want to test it. Problem is that is running a bit funny at the moment. One day it wont go past 8000rpm and the next it will, but has a small couple of misses round 12000 to 13000rpm.

Now we want to get it running mint, but dont want to waste money and a day off work to be dissapointed out at ruapuna.

I was wondering if anyone knew of our had a large "testing area" for the bike around or just out of Christchurch. We wont be doing stupid things, just getting the bike ready for F3 and clubmans. Can anyone help?

    Cheers

You got a way of transporting it? Or do you have to ride it there?

Thats a goer, just dont want someone nosey coming round the corner and we still have to get the bike on the trailer. Although, its not usually busy is it?

Nah, very quiet. Shouldn't be a problem considering what we normally get up to out there.

In the old days, when I ever needed testing (like with my RS-125 etc), there was a place just out of Christchurch (not saying what "NW" direction though ) that had a good long straight. I'm sure you Cantabs know of it......
